WHAT IT DOES
With the Agent Designer, you create an agent simply by describing what you want it to do — in plain language, like a chat. There are no forms to fill out and no flows to draw. You type a description, and Zammo builds the agent for you. Every change you ask for shows up right in the conversation, so refining your agent is as easy as sending another message.

Getting started
From the Agents page, click New agent. You'll land on the Agent Designer's welcome screen, where you can describe your agent or start from a blank canvas.

The Agent Designer welcome screen — describe your agent in plain language and Zammo builds it as you chat, or Start blank for full manual control.
How it works
- Describe your agent. In the message box, say what you want in plain language — for example, "Build a 311 assistant for the City of Riverton that answers questions about city services and lets residents report issues like potholes and downed trees in a friendly, professional tone." Not sure what to say? See Example prompts for starting points.
- Zammo builds it. As you chat, Zammo sets up your agent's instructions, personality, and behavior for you. You'll see a live plan as it works and a receipt of exactly what changed. If a step needs a login or API key, Zammo asks for it in a secure form — you never type credentials into the chat.
- Refine by chatting. Want a different tone, an extra capability, or a tweak to how it answers? Just ask. Your agent updates in place — no rebuilding from scratch.
- Test, then publish. Select Try it to chat with your draft live before anyone sees it. When you're happy, publish it to your channel — a separate, deliberate step, so nothing goes live by accident. You can keep improving it at any time.

TIP
Start with one clear job. A focused agent that does one thing well is easier to launch — and easier for your customers to trust — than one that tries to do everything at once. You can always add more later, just by asking.
