🛠️ How-to guide

WHAT IT DOES
Make sure your agent behaves the way you expect before it meets real customers — then launch with confidence and keep improving.

In the bar across the top of your agent, next to More, a Try it pill appears as soon as the agent is ready to test. Chat with it there and ask the questions your residents actually ask. Nothing you do in Try it reaches real customers, so it is safe to poke at. If an answer is off, say so in the Designer and try again — changing it and retesting happen in the same place.
Trying things by hand proves the agent works today. The Evals tab is what proves it still works tomorrow: every time the Designer verifies a change it saves the checks it used, so the agent arrives with a suite of its own. Re-run them whenever you like, and the run history shows at a glance which change broke what. See Evals.
Your edits go live only when you publish them. While an agent has work that is not live yet, the Designer marks it Unpublished changes — open Version History to publish. Each version can carry a short note, so the list stays readable months later. Publish makes a version live for customers; Restore brings an older one back as your test version so you can look it over first. Publishing is a separate permission from editing, so you can let people build without letting them launch. Changes take effect for new conversations — anyone mid-conversation finishes on the version they started with.

TIP
Treat launch as the start of a loop, not the finish line. Use analytics to spot common questions and gaps, then update your knowledge and agent design to keep improving results.
