Overview

Within the Filter PII recording action, there are a few true/false configurations.

  1. Use AI to filter your data.

    This option determines whether AI is used when filtering your data. Having this option turned on can help filter out more nuanced filter cases through the use of conversational context.

  2. Use built-in Zammo Rules to filter data.

    Zammo has created a pre-made list of commonly filtered items

    1. Names
    2. Addresses
    3. Social Security Numbers
    4. Age
    5. Phone Numbers
    6. Email Addresses
  3. Use custom rules to filter data.

    This option allows the creation of custom filters to hide certain words or phrases. These filters, unlike the Zammo pre-made list, cannot filter out categories such as names or addresses. Instead, they filter out exact words and phrases that you specify.

Creating a custom rule for the filter PII Recording action

Step 1 - Enable Custom Rules

  1. Select the existing filter PII recording action and set Use custom rules to filter data to “true”.

  2. Under Regular Expression, write the word or phrase you wish to be filtered out. For Description, give a label to describe the rule.
