You can link to an existing portion of the conversation by creating another dialog and copying to it the steps you want to repeat. The UI Builder can be thought of more as programming code than building a flowchart. In a flowchart, one can draw a line to link back to an existing branch for repeating. Conversely, UI Builder flows in one direction, where context develops as it progresses. Sections to be repeated need to be created as separate entities. The good news is that you don’t have to duplicate the steps as a separate branch in the conversation, making the workflow difficult to navigate. Instead, you create a new dialog, paste in the steps you want to repeat, and run it in the workflow. Here’s how:

  1. Select the portion of your workflow that you want to repeat. Copy to the clipboard.
  2. At the place in the workflow where you want the steps repeated, select the plus sign, then Dialog Management, and then Begin a New Dialog.
  3. In the right pane, click in the Dialog Name field and then select the Create a New Dialog option. In the pop-up dialog, enter the name of the dialog (no spaces) and choose OK.
  4. In the left pane, select the newly created dialog. In the center pane, click on the plus sign and then select Paste.
