Once you've created a knowledge base, you may want to make updates or modifications. This could include editing its name or description, regenerating the endpoint URL, adding or removing content, or even deleting the knowledge base. This guide will walk you through the steps to manage and update your Zammo knowledge base with ease.

Change the Knowledge Base Name or Description

To change the name or description of your knowledge base, select the cog icon to the right of the knowledge base name:

In the Knowledge base information modal, enter the new name or description and choose Update.

💡 Note that the 'Use Vector Search' option cannot be selected here. If you want to enable Vector Search, it must be activated when the knowledge base is initially created, as it cannot be changed afterward.

Regenerate the Query Endpoint URL

If you’d like to regenerate the query endpoint URL, you can select the option near the bottom of the Knowledge Base Information modal.

💡 Please be aware that both the Staging and Published query endpoint URLs will be regenerated. By making this change, any application using the query endpoints will now receive an error and will need to be updated to the newly generated query endpoints.

If you wish to proceed, choose Yes. The new query API token is generated and can be copied to the clipboard by selecting the Copy icon to the right of the URL.
