A welcome message is the first interaction your customer experiences when they launch your chatbot or call your IVR system. Learn how to craft engaging welcome message variations and tailor them for different channels, such as web chatbots and IVR systems.
The default welcome message is provided in the Portal in the Advanced Settings modal. It is accessible by selecting Settings in the Q&A page:

In UI Builder are options to override the default welcome message, craft message variations, and tailor the message for different channels.
To override the default welcome message, select the zammoAppLaunched event in the List pane. In the Design pane, select the activity that contains the default welcome message. In the Details pane, enter your preferred welcome message in the text editor.
