WHAT IT DOES
Document generation lets your agent hand people a file during the conversation β a PDF receipt, a Word letter, a spreadsheet, a calendar invite, a contact card, or a QR code. You name the documents the agent offers, so a resident can simply ask for a "service request receipt", and every file is private to that conversation.

Use it when a resident needs something to keep after the chat: confirmation of what they reported, a summary to forward, an appointment to add to their calendar, or a code to scan later. This is separate from uploading files to your knowledge or showing cards in chat.

Adding a Missed pickup report document type: Add a type, name it, choose PDF and DOCX, keep Agent writes it, and describe what the document should say.

TIP
Already have a letter or form you like? Select Import wording (or Start from an example) and upload a Word, Markdown, or text file up to 5 MB. Zammo turns it into guidance you review before using β it doesn't keep the original file or add it to the agent's knowledge.

In From my layout, build the Layout from parts β Title, Text, Details, Table, List, Highlight, and more under Moreβ¦ β and insert fields such as Request number where the agent should fill in a value. The Preview draws the document from your Sample data (which never reaches the agent or a resident), and Download builds a real sample file. Save your changes before creating a sample.
