To deploy your chatbot:

  1. In the Dashboard page, select the Channels tab from the left-hand menu pane.
  2. In the Website Chatbot option, select "Activate".
  3. Next, enter the domain name of the website where you want to add the chatbot, e.g., https://zammo.ai. If your canonical domain has www. in front of it, you will need to include it in order for your bot to work. (Note: be sure to remove any slashes from the end of your domain url. For example, you want to input https://zammo.ai and not https://zammo.ai/.) After entering your domain url, be sure to hit return/enter so that your url turns blue.
  4. Then click "Activate" to proceed.
  5. Click the "Continue" button.
  6. Then click "Get My Webchat Code".
  7. Next, click "Copy This Snippet to the Clipboard".
  8. Finally, you can send this code to your web developer (you can paste it in an email, for example) with instructions to add this snippet of code to the bottom of your website's home page after </body>.
  9. Once this is completed, the content from the "Live Content" tab of your Q&As will be available in the chatbot on your website! To see this process in action, check out this video.
